Doing a Re-Inspection is the best way to know that all the items were completed and there are no surprises and the closing table.
The best time to do a re-inspection is as soon as all the repair items have been completed by the seller. This gives the Property Inspector more time to collect the needed information and go a re-inspect the property.
The Property Inspector will only go and look at the items that were requested to be repaired.
It is important that the inspector be privy to all the contractor receipts and work orders to make sure all items were completed.
If items are found to have not been completed or not completed correctly the inspector will write a report explaining his findings.
